WTC 2023: Three Indians in Australia's WTC Team of the Tournament: Cricket Australia have released a post naming the Team Of The Tournament of World Test Championship 2021-23 cycle. There are three Indians in Australia's WTC Team of the Tournament.
The team consists of 1 Pakistani batter (Babar Azam), three Australian Players (Usman Khawaja, Travis Head, and Pat Cummins), one Sri Lankan opener Dimuth Karunaratne, two Englishmen (Joe Root and James Anderson), and lastly three big Indian names over there: Ravindra Jadeja, Rishabh Pant, and Ravi Chandran Ashwin.
The second edition of the World Test Championship(WTC 2023) is now heading to its conclusion after two years marked by historic tours, broken records, and the introduction of "Bazball." All of the preliminary sparrings has been over; the WTC 2023 final, between Australia and India, will take place on June 7 in London.
The three Indian names in the Team of the Tournament of WTC 2023 are the pillars of lower middle order batting and bowling as well. Rishabh Pant, the renowned wicketkeeper, though failed to shine in shorter formats, has made his name in the biggest format of the game.
The spin pair of India, R Ashwin, and R Jadeja, is arguably the best all-rounder pair in the red ball format right now. This pair solidifies the lower-order batting and can pick plenty of wickets on any given surface.
