2024 Pakistan Super League Batting Stats, PSL 2024 Highest Run Scorer, Leading Wicket Taker: The third fixture of the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL) saw a clash between Mohammad Rizwan-led Multan Sultan and Shan Masood-spearheaded Karachi Kings at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The fixture was the second game of the Sunday double-header on February 18.

Mohammad Rizwan and Co. started their run in the ninth edition of the PSL with a win as they defeated Karachi Kings by 55 runs. With the opening win, Multan Sultan also opened their account in the Pakistan Super League Points Table.

To begin the innings, Multan Sultan lost their skipper Mohammad Rizwan quite early in the tournament. However, the likes of Dawid Malan and Reeza Hendricks played sublime knocks to post a 185-run total. Malan scored 41-ball 52 while, Reeza Hendricks remained unbeaten at 54-ball 79.

Later in the innings, Khushdil Shah played a handy cameo of 28 runs in 13 deliveries and aided Multan Sultan set a 185-run target in 20 overs.

Karachi Kings required combined efforts from their players to chase the total, but they could get support from all-rounder Shoaib Malik, who played a quickfire knock of 53 runs in 35 balls. Karachi skipper Shan Masood added 30 runs to the score while opening the innings, and all-rounder Kieron Pollard remained unbeaten at 29-ball 28 runs.

The Karachi innings against Multan Sultan registered 5 ducks owing to the superb bowling effort from the opposition. Mohammad Ali scalped three wickets and two wickets each were scalped by David Willey and Abbas Afridi. Usama Mir too got one in his bag as Multan Sultan restricted Karachi Kings to a total of 130 runs in 20 overs.

Multan Sultan batter Reeza Hendricks played a match-winning knock of 79 runs while batting first against Karachi Kings at the Multan Cricket Stadium. Hendricks, owing to his sublime knock, is placed atop the PSL 2024 Highest Run Scorer chart. He is followed by Quetta Gladiators' Jason Roy, who has 75 runs to his name.

Pakistan Super League Leading Wicket Taker

Multan Sultan pacer Mohammad Ali scalped three wickets against Karachi Kings and jumped to the top of the Pakistan Super League Leading Wicket Taker's list. Ali is closely followed by Salman Irshad, who also has three wickets to his name.
