Pakistan Becomes The Third Team to Reach the Milestone: After winning the 1st ODI match against New Zealand, Pakistan reached a new milestone in ICC ODI cricket. Pakistan reached the 500th win in ODI cricket and became the third country to reach this milestone after Australia and India.
One Day International(ODI) is the most famous cricket format in the world. The first ODI match at Melbourne Cricket Ground between Australia and England was in Jan 1971. Australia won the most ODI matches as they won 594 matches out of 978 matches with a winning percentage of 63.40%.
India won 539 matches out of 1029 matches, which is the second most wins by any team. Pakistan comes to the 500 mark of winning ODI matches out of 949 matches with a winning percentage of 54.25%. India is the only Team with more than 1000 ODI matches; overall, more than 4000 ODIs are being played by different teams.
Australian Cricket Team:
The Australian Team started playing ODI cricket on 5 January 1971, and the Match was between Australia and England at MCG. They have played 978 ODI matches and won 594 matches, which is most by any team. They are the most successful ODI team in the world, as they has won five ICC ODI World Cups (1987, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2015).

Indian Team played their first ODI match on 13 July 1974, India has played 1029 ODI Matches, in which they won 539 matches with an winning percentage of 52.93%. India has appeared in three ICC World Cup finals and won two Trophies (1983, 2011). In 1983, the trophy was won under the leadership of Kapil Dev, whereas In 2011, MS Dhoni was the Team captain.
