IPL 2021: Aussie cricketers completed their quarantine, free to meet their families.
IPL 2021: The Australian recruits of the Vivo IPL 2021 on Monday were set free to meet their families on completion of their 14 days mandatory quarantine in Sydney. The contingent including high profile cricketers, coaches and officials were put in isolation after heading back from the Maldives.
David Warner posted a video on his social media handles showing his excitement, meeting his family after a long time. He also posted a clip of the ocean captioned, ?It's great to be home.?
Speedster Jason Behrendroff, who was signed by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as a replacement for Josh Hazlewood, said it was "nice to have some fresh air" after leaving his quarantine hotel.

"It's always tough being stuck somewhere, and knowing that we're able to get home was a relief, and now we're out of quarantine, I can't wait to get home and see my family."
The Vivo IPL 2021 was suspended by the BCCI after a surge in the covid cases inside the bubble and the group of 38 Australian people, who were all part of the IPL 2021 in some or the other way, were airlifted to the Maldives by the BCCI after the Australian government banned all flights from India.?
The group spent 10 days in the Maldives before heading out to their country Australia.
All the expenses of these cricketers, from their flight charges, hotel charges and others, were taken care of by the BCCI.
On 29th May, the Indian board after the Special General Meeting (SGM) announced that the remaining 31 games of the Vivo IPL 2021 will be held in the UAE during the window of September-October.
