Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) might Postpone Home Series with West Indies in 2024 to avoid clash with PSL: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) were looking to postpone the series against West Indies, which is scheduled in Feb-Mar 2024 in Pakistan.

This series is important for Pakistan because ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will be scheduled in Summer in the West Indies and the United States. The Series Between West Indies and Pakistan is clashing with the 9th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Pakistan Cricket Board are talking with Emirates Cricket Board about shifting the International League T20 (ILT20) by ten days so that PSL and ILT20 Couldn't collide.

As per ICC Future Tour Programme (FTP), Pakistan will be playing against West Indies at their home. This series includes two Test Matches and three T20I Matches in the starting month of the Year 2024.

Pakistan might also sacrifice this series due to a very busy schedule and player's unavailability. Pakistan Super League (PSL) Board doesn't want other series to collide with PSL 2024 so that they have to shift or reduce the number of matches.

PCB wants to schedule series in a short window between PSL 2024 and IPL 2024:

All the Question Arises because of a very less period between PSL 2024 and IPL 2024, As PSL will be played in February and March, whereas IPL will be played in April and May, So Players will be unavailable for the Bilateral series in this Period.?

Till Now, The Pakistan Cricket Board has not said anything about rescheduling this Home series, as there are discussions going on about the home series during the month of Ramadan (March to April). But this still a problem for Pakistani Players to play Cricket while having fast as it may cause serious problems to them.?

Pakistan played a series against New Zealand during Ramadan this year, but those were T20I matches, and all were played during the night, whereas ODI matches were played after Ramadan.

Pakistan Cricket Board(PCB) is planning to add two more franchises to the PSL 2024, which may increase the playing duration by ten more days. Currently, There are six teams have been playing in PSL since 2015.
