David Warner hits back at SRH for abruptly dropping him from the team in IPL 2021: Australian opening batsman David Warner has recently opened up and put forth his views on the fallout between him and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Warner, during the IPL 2021, was initially sacked from the team captaincy, without giving any proper grounds, and then later dropped from the team.

Warner, talking about the decision of SRH management, feels that the rest of the other guys in the group will not be sure about their positions.?

The cricketer, who has been performing sensationally ever since he was dropped from the SRH, reckons that dropping a skipper and keeping him out of the playing11 doesn?t send the right messages.

?If you are going to drop a captain and then not pick him in the team after what he has done, what message does that send to the young kids in the team? What message does that send to the rest of the group? What hurt me the most is that the other guys are now thinking, ?oh, this could happen to me," he said while in conversation with Boria Majumdar.

Warner, last year, opened up and made it clear that he is still waiting for the proper reason why he was sacked from the leadership. Moreover, he believes that he will never receive a proper answer to this question.

?At the end of the day, whatever happens, cop it cop it on the chin. If you want to have those conversations, just have them. It?s not hard. Don?t shy away from them. I am not going to bite. I am going to sit here and accept that for what it is because you are not picking me in the team," Warner added.

Despite a bitter fallout, Warner remains the leading run-getter for SRH. He will remain the most valuable asset SRH ever acquired. Moreover, under Warner?s captaincy, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) won its only IPL title in 2016.

It must be noted that David Warner is going to be a hot pick in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. He is the one who will put almost every franchise in a bidding war and bag a massive million dollar deal in the upcoming auction, or even before that as well.
