DC vs MI: Not Jasprit Bumrah or Suryakumar Yadav! Aakash Chopra picks this Mumbai batter as top player to watch out for

Former India cricket Aakash Chopra picked a player to watch out for in the DC vs MI game in the IPL 2024. The two teams will be up against each other on Saturday (27th April) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, which will be the second leg of the fixture.?

The DC vs MI game will be an important clash for both teams as they have been reeling in the bottom half of the table. Both the teams have had their moments in the game and a win here would give them a chance to qualify as both of them are at 8 points. 

With the DC vs MI game just a few hours away from now, former India cricketer Aakash Chopra picked his player to watch out for. He went with Mumbai Indians opener Rohit Sharma because he believes that the opening batter enjoys batting in Delhi. 

Chopra stated that with the DC vs MI game set to be an afternoon fixture, Rohit Sharma will have a greater chance to score runs. Speaking in a video posted on his YouTube channel, he explained:?

"Who am I looking towards in this match - Rohit Sharma. Rohit Sharma has three half-centuries here. Rohit Sharma has an excellent record in Delhi, and if he is coming with that record, afternoon game, he also played well in the last match, which too was an afternoon game, I am going with Rohit Sharma as my first player to watch out for,"

DC vs MI: He will be slightly hurt because of the rare failure in the last match - Aakash Chopra on Rohit Sharma 

Aakash Chopra further believes that Rohit Sharma would be disappointed with the way he got out early in the last match. He claimed that he would be keen to make a comeback and that his record at Delhi will favour him. He added:?

"He bats well and will be slightly hurt because of the rare failure in the last match, and he will bounce back. He does that in any case at this ground.?

Rohit Sharma has looked into the tremendous touch in the ongoing IPL 2024. He has mustered 303 runs at a strike rate of 162.90 in eight innings in IPL 2024. Apart from his he also has slammed one century in the tournament. 

Apart from Rohit Sharma, Aakash Chopra also went on to pick Suryakumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah as the other two players to look out for.?
