With all the hype around ICC World Cup 2023, former Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist has picked his four semi-finalists for the tournament. What caught the attention of many was he left out runners-up of the ICC World Cup 2019 New Zealand.
Adam picked Australia as his first semi-finalist. The kind of cricket Australia has played with the pedigree of players that they have, it’s fair to say that the Pat Cummins-led side will be one of the hot favourites to win the ICC World Cup 2023. They have played well in Indian conditions and all the eyes will be on them.
The former Australian cricketer picked India as his second semi-finalist. the Rohit Sharma-led side recently won the Asia Cup 2023 and they would be playing in home conditions which makes them another favourites. He also picked England as one of his top teams for the ICC World Cup 2023.
