The ICC World Cup 2023 is keeping fans engaged even though only a few games have taken place. The competition between bat and ball has been enthralling and it?s fair to say that the excitement will only get doubled up as the tournament progresses.

As the ICC World Cup 2023 is on, players from the other teams including Pakistan, New Zealand, Bangladesh and England were asked about one player who they can steal from Team India. They all picked one player and it depicts the caliber he possesses.
Haris Rauf, Shakib Al Hasan, Devon Conway, Hasan Ali and Harry Brook were asked about their choices. They didn?t take it as they were quick to name Indian batter Virat Kohli. Speaking to ICC, they revealed about their choices.

Virat Kohli can surpass Sachin Tendulkar in the most number of centuries in the ODIs. The senior batter currently has 47 ODI hundreds and is just two tons away from scripting history. Tendulkar has 49 hundreds and if Kohli can smash three tons this tournament, he can create a World record.
Virat Kohli is also on the verge of completing 11000 runs at No. 3 in international cricket. He has been an absolute beast at this position and is just 38 runs away from the milestone. The batter currently has 10,962 runs and it is expected that he will achieve the feat. He only has Ricky Ponting ahead of him. The Australia great has 12,662 runs while batting at No.3.
If this was not enough, Virat Kohli is also on the verge of achieving 26000 international runs. He is 233 runs away from achieving the feat. He has 25,767 runs at an average of 53.68. If he achieves the feat, he will become only the fourth cricket to achieve the feat.
