ICC World Cup Final: Gautam Gambhir picks his game changer for India ahead of final

India Cricket Team has reached the ICC World Cup Final. The Men in Blue were extremely dominant in the world stage of the tournament as they won 9 out of the 9 games and made it into the semi-final. The 9 wins weren?t just like any other wins but they thrashed opposition in almost every game.
If this was not enough, India defeated New Zealand by 70 runs in the semi-final to enter the ICC World Cup Final. The Kiwis posed a great threat to the Indian team but they believed in their abilities and put in a magnificent effort. This was for the first time India defeated New Zealand in the ICC knockouts.
Each and every player has contributed so far in the tournament for India. There have been breathtaking performances as well from both bat and ball. Despite everyone putting in a valiant effort, Gautam Gambhir picked one player who he feels has been the game-changer for India.
The former Indian cricketer picked Shreyas Iyer as the team?s biggest game-changer. He said that the batter will be key for the team going into the ICC World Cup Final. During a? show on Star Sports, he stated:?
"Shreyas Iyer is the biggest game changer for me in this World Cup. He was injured, and had to fight for his place, and to score a century in 70 balls in the knockout is simply outstanding. He'll be the key for India in the Final when Maxwell and Zampa bowls".
Shreyas Iyer has scripted history in the ongoing ICC World Cup. He has become the first Indian batter in the history of the game to score 500 runs in the tournament while batting in the middle order. The right-handed smashed a century against New Zealand in the semi-final. He slammed 105 runs.
ICC World Cup Final: India to face Australia in World Cup final
India will be taking on Australia in the ICC World Cup Final. The match will take place at the Narendra Modi International Stadium in Ahmedabad on 19th November. The Pat Cummins-led side defeated South Africa by three wickets and paved their way into the final.?
It?ll be an exciting clash to watch as both the teams have played magnificent brand of cricket in the tournament. While India is on a winning streak of 10, Australia have won 8 games on the trot. It remains to be seen who will lift the trophy on 19th November.
