IPL 2021: Harbhajan Singh working hard for the coming IPL 2021 auctions.
Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021: Veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh said that he is working hard for the coming IPL auctions and feels confident to grab the franchise. As the date of IPL 2021 auction is getting closer, the players have started to train hard and break into the franchise.
IPL 2021 auction is scheduled to take place on 18th February in Chennai. The senior spinner Harbhajan Singh will head to the auction pool with a base price of INR 2 Crores.
Harbhajan Singh has been a tremendous player for India and fir the franchise cricket. He was earlier associated with Mumbai Indians until 2017 and for the next two seasons, he played for Chennai Super Kings. He pulled out of the Indian Premier League 2020 which was hosted in UAE due to pandemic.
Ahead of the IPL 2021 auctions, CSK has released the cricketer and he will once again go to the auction table.
There is a lot of cricket left in me: Harbhajan Singh
I feel that there is plenty of cricket left in me and I have worked really hard for my things. I am fit and had a good time and trained myself during the pandemic.
?There is a lot of cricket left in me, very much. Fitness-wise, I am quite fit, I worked hard on my fitness during the lockdown. Unfortunately, I could not do anything (participate in the IPL). I am looking forward to being in the park again and doing what I can do best,? said Harbhajan Singh.
?I wanted to play the previous Indian Premier League (IPL), but due to some tough times, I couldn?t. I needed to be with my family and closed ones and I thought it would be the right decision to be with the family and skip the tournament.?
?I feel fresh right now and trying to get into the groove. I am confident that I will get a franchise and will surely contribute to them.?
Harbhajan Singh can be an instrumental bowler for any franchise. Having years of experience in the highest level of cricket, he can perform for his side quite well. The teams can still opt for him and could use him as the backup of the main spinner in the side.
