IPL 2021: The league stages games of the fourteenth edition of the Indian Premier League to be conducted entirely in Mumbai says Delhi Capitals co-owner, Parth Jindal in the recent conversation with ESPNcricinfo after the wrap of IPL 2021 Auction at Chennai.

"I do believe the IPL will happen in India."

?The BCCI and IPL are contemplation on conducting league phase at one venue and the playoffs at other. A lot of discussion is been around Mumbai for conducting league games as there are three grounds ( Wankhede Stadium, Brabourne Stadium, DY Patil Stadium) and a lot of practice facilities. Jindal further told that if the games happen in Mumbai, Delhi will get an advantage as many players in the squad belongs to the city. While the chances of Mumbai being selected as the venus could slim down as we are seeing the covid-19 spikes again in Maharashtra.

?The selection of Steve Smith will suit the conditions here in Mumbai and will be a key player for the side.?

BCCI is still mulling on the venues of the Indian Premier League. They can move out and play at the home grounds and tell that we are ready for the T20 World Cup later this year. But all this depends upon the covid-19 situation and the decisions will be taken thereafter.
