IPL Points Table (Updated) On 17th MAY after SRH vs GT, SRH QUALIFY for Playoffs, Delhi Capitals OUT of IPL 2024

IPL Points Table: Match number 66 of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, scheduled to be held between Pat Cummins' Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans (GT) was called off following incessant rain in Hyderabad on May 16. Following the unfortunate end to the contest, SRH confirmed their place in the top 4 of the IPL Points Table.
After multiple delays and not a slight glimmer of hope for the rain to cease, the match officials for the SRH vs GT fixture zeroed in on abandoning the fixture.
Both Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans shared one point each for the game.
Interestingly, this was Gujarat's second consecutive game that was washed out due to rain. Earlier, their playoff hopes were crushed after their penultimate contest against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) was abandoned at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
GT was already knocked out of the IPL 2024 playoff race and had nothing to lose with this fixture being washed out. Meanwhile, SRH with one point has made it through to the IPL playoffs. However, the top two finish for SRH is not a question anymore.
Let's take a look at the IPL Points Table (Updated) On 17th MAY after SRH vs GT.
IPL Points Table (Updated) after SRH vs GT
SRH has maintained its third position in the IPL Points Table despite an unusual result, where they had to settle with just a single match point. The Pat Cummins-led side has 15 points to their name in 13 games so far.
