Latest PSL Points Table 2024: Quetta Gladiators retained second spot in the latest PSL Points Table 2024 after they defeated Karachi Kings by 5 wickets at the National Stadium in Karachi on Thursday, February 29, 2023. On the other side, Karachi Kings missed a chance to move up in the PSL Points Table following the last-ball defeat.

The fixture began with Karachi Kings' batting. The team added 165 runs in 20 overs in the loss of eight wickets. Karachi saw handy contributions from most of its batters, while none of them could play a long innings. James Vince remained the biggest contributor with his 37 runs knock.
Meanwhile, Abrar Ahmed picked up three wickets while Akeal Hosein and Usman Tariq scalped two wickets each.
Though the chase looked straightforward for Quetta Gladiators, their middle order derailed following several quick dismissals. Despite getting a good start, Quetta's middle-order couldn't capitalise on it and made the easy task a daunting one.
The openers added 57 runs for the first wicket, but the fall of Saud Shakeel as the first wicket, opened the gates for Karachi's bowlers to dominate and to some extent they did. The 3 incoming batters were dismissed in single-digit scores and the team was reduced to 89 runs in the loss of 5 wickets from 57/1 in 5.6 overs.
However, the pair of Sherfane Rutherford and Akeal Hosein came to rescue Quetta Gladiators. Both the batters remained unbeaten and added 58 and 22 runs respectively to take their team home in the chase of 165 runs in 20 overs.
Quetta Gladiators registered a last-ball win against Karachi Kings by 5 wickets.
