First half of Mumbai Indians (MI):
Mumbai Indians (MI) had a mixed IPL season in the first half where the franchise went on the win four and lost three in the seven matches they played. However, the overall performance of the team is deemed to be brilliant by the pundits as Mumbai played most of its games on the rank turners in Chennai where it was tough for the batter to go after bowlers.
Rohit Sharma and Co. are placed fourth in the points table of the Vivo IPL 2021 and the team has a clear chance to make it to the playoffs this time as well. It is noteworthy that if Mumbai Indians (MI) manages to win the Vivo IPL 2021, the franchise will ink the history by winning three IPL titles in consecutive years. Moreover, it will be Mumbai's sixth IPL title. The next best is with Chennai Super Kings (CSK), which has three under its name.
The group will look to begin the winning run as they head out in Dubai to lock horns against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the opener on 19th September.
