Vivo IPL 2021: The second phase opener of the Vivo Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 is all set to commence today from 7:30 PM IST onwards. The opening match is going to be one hell of a thriller as MS Dhoni?s CSK will take on Rohit Sharma?s MI at the Dubai International Stadium.

CSK opener Faf du Plessis is doubtful for the clash. He warmed the benches in the last three matches in Caribbean Premier League (CPL) owing to his injury and the franchise will take a late call on his availability.?
His absence will open doors for Robin Uthappa, who will look forward to making his CSK debut. However, the franchise may also push Moeen Ali into the opening position and settle Uthappa somewhere in the middle order.
English all-rounder Sam Curran is also unavailable for the opening match as he is currently undergoing his six days quarantine after arriving in the UAE on 15th September. Dwayne Bravo may get a chance to play in Curran?s slot.
