PAK vs SA: Huge blow for Pakistan team as Hasan Ali has been ruled out of Pakistan vs South Africa game. Pakistan are scheduled to face South Africa on 27 October at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. It is a must-win match for Pakistan. They have already lost three matches out of 5 and one more loss, it will be the end of the World Cup dream for them.

The Pakistan cricket team's already complicated quest to qualify for the semi-finals has been made much more difficult by this development. Since Hasan Ali was unable to take part in the team's practice yesterday, supporters and cricket fanatics alike were deeply troubled by his absence.
PCB on Hasan Ali's Unavailability
Releasing a statement on Hasan Ali's unavailability, PCB wrote, "Fast bowler Hasan Ali has been ruled out of Pakistan's World Cup match against South Africa on Friday in Chennai. Hassan Ali is currently unwell and sat out the training session on Thursday."
"The right-arm pacer suffered fever last night, but he is recovering well. The PCB medical panel has advised him to rest, in order to recover fully ahead of the remaining games."
Sources indicate that Muhammad Wasim Jr. would probably be picked in the starting eleven against South Africa to fill in for Hasan Ali. Given Hasan Ali's status as a crucial fast bowler, this move may have an effect on the team's bowling lineup and strategy.
The Pakistan cricket team's World Cup campaign has been quite the roller coaster, with exciting wins against cricketing Sri Lanka and Netherlands, they then lost to heavyweights like Australia and India on October 14 and 20, respectively, and a difficult match against Afghanistan on October 23.
Pakistan's hopes of qualifying for the World Cup now depend on overcoming this challenging hurdle. Pakistan may still advance to the semifinals with four group games remaining, but there won't be much room for error.
All-arounder Shadab Khan of Pakistan emphasized yesterday that his underachieving teammates still think "miracles can happen" as the defending champions face a "do-or-die" struggle to turn around their dismal World Cup campaign.
