The score of 344 runs was never chased in the World Cup; as soon as the Pakistan team started to chase the runs, their two wickets had fallen for only 37 runs. Captain Babar Azam was out after scoring 10 runs, and opener batsman Imam-ul-Haq was out after scoring 12 runs. But then, thanks to Abdullah Shafique's 113 runs in 103 balls and Mohammad Rizwan's 131 runs, Pakistan chased the runs at the loss of four in just 48.2 overs.
