The multi-purpose facility Brian Lara Cricket Academy is located in southern Trinidad, just outside the heart of the city of San Fernando in Tarouba, on the Island of Trinidad and Tobago. Named after former West Indies Captain Brian Lara, the stadium was built and officially inaugurated in 2017.

Located approximately four kilometers from the coastline, the Brian Lara Cricket Academy was envisioned as part of a larger complex spanning 180 acres (0.73 km?) of farmland in Tarouba, with an investment of TT$1.1 billion.
